Color Flood: World Challenge Privacy Policy

Color Flood: World Challenge is a game developed by Hampton Lintorn-Catlin, a US citizen and sole proprietor of the game. It's a puzzle game available today on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The following is the privacy and security policy for the game. This policy applies to all aspects of the game, including but not limited to the website, mobile apps, and other services that Hampton Lintorn-Catlin may provide in the future.

This policy is subject to change at any time without notice.

First, ethically and morally, I believe in privacy of the individual and will only collect what's needed for the functioning, monitoring, and monetization of the game using Google Ads. I will not sell or rent your personal information. Service providers receive data as needed to operate the game, analytics, and advertising.

What do we collect and who sees it?

The game creates a user ID and records game results, scores, purchases, and any display name or avatar you choose. Requests include a per-install ID and device, operating system, platform, app version, and build information. The server also receives your IP address. If you choose phone recovery, your phone number is stored with your account; email is not used for recovery.

Account, score, leaderboard, and purchase data are handled by the GameZone API. Umami receives app events along with the user ID, platform, and app version to help monitor use and diagnose issues. Google Mobile Ads handles advertising.

Phone recovery is optional. It currently trusts the phone number you supply and does not send an SMS or otherwise verify that you control the number. Supplying a number may link to and recover the account already associated with that number.

Data Deletion Requests

If you want your data deleted, I'm more than happy to do that. To find your data, you'll need to send me the User ID listed in the app under the settings menu. It's at the bottom of the screen and is an alphanumeric sequence.

Once you have that ID, send an email to hampton@hamptonmakes.com with the subject "Color Flood Delete Request" and in the body of the email, include the User ID. I'll delete your data within 30 days!
